Tonya D. Allen - Founder and Chairwoman

This Foundation was founded in direct response to national health crisis of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA). It is a known fact that Children's voices are not being heard in undeserved areas despite the growing epidemic. Tonya has a relentless passion for helping break the silence of those women and girls who have been traumatized at the hands of sexual abuse. She has carried this work out through productions such as Eve Ensler's "Vagina Monologue" in which she was the Co-Director. She has served as President and leadership fund raising efforts for several community programs. Tonya has guided many individuals to success through workshop facilitation that focuses on personal and spiritual growth. She has a tenacious spirit that has inspired many. Her passion for women both young and mature is evident in the numerous lives that she has impacted.
Tonya is a survivor and over the years has progressed through the steps of healing, disclosure to friends and family, and now publicly acknowledges the abuse and encourages others to do whatever it takes to heal and embrace a full and complete life. Tonya is an avid writer and has had two inspirational books for women and girls published. Her most recent book titled Triumph over Tragedy: "My Story, My Life and Breaking the Silence is scheduled for release February 2009.

Troy C. Allen - President
Troy Allen has worked in Social Services for over eighteen years and has been in various roles within that time frame.  He obtained his formal education at
Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Sociology and pledged Kappa Alpha Psi, as well as his Masters in Counseling from Northern Arizona University, Summa Cum Laude. He is currently working towards his Doctorate degree. Troy has always held Managment positions and began his professional career at the Arizona Boys Ranch working with juvenile delinquents with mental and behavioral health issues. He has held positions with Child Protective Services where he has served as Case Manager for children victimized by sexual abuse. He has taught Sociology at Phoenix College and currently works for the Superior Court in Maricopa County as a Court Mediator; negotiating services between Attorney's, Child Protective Services and Clients. He is also contracted with Rio Salado Behavioral Health as a Mental Health Counselor. Pastor Allen is knowlegable in developing treatment plans and goals, facilitating workshops, groups and one-on-one counseling. He can be accredited for developing a Fatherhood Program which allowed him to speak at the Fatherhood National conference in New YorkHe is the Founder and Senior Pastor of By His Spirit Christian Fellowship, a non-denominational church located in Litchfield Park, AZ.

Terri Bowersock - Board Member
Terri L. Bowersock is the founder and Chairwoman of Terri’s Consigned and Design Furnishings Inc., a multi- million dollar chain of consignment stores stretching from coast to coast. As a successful businesswoman, Terri’s uncontained drive and enthusiasm has lead to the development of four additional highly successful businesses. Over the last eight years, through her book, Success It Can Be Yours, Terri has shared her vast knowledge and business experience with others seeking to fulfill their own dream of success in the business world to audiences ranging from 50 to 4000 participants.Terri  is the honored recipient of more than 30 local and national awards in recognition of pioneering achievements in her business and personal life. Among her national awards for 1998 she received the Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year from Entrepreneur Magazine and the distinguished Women of Enterprise Award from Avon, Inc.  She has twice been named the US Chamber of Commerce Blue Chip Award winner and has received double honors from Inc. Magazine; in 1992 as the Retail Entrepreneur of the Year and again in 1994 as the Socially Responsible Entrepreneur of the Year. Most recently she received the Hon Kachina Volunteer Award, an award presented to those who have made tremendous impacts for their communities. Terri has appeared on national and local television shows, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Jenny Jones Show, CNN, Ivanhoe Broadcast News and CNNfn.
Terri has risen to the top in a highly competitive business world while remaining true to her desire to bring “heart and soul” to the economic establishment. Her determination to bring humanity to the business world is reflected in her corporate culture, which supports diversity and encourages the entrepreneurial spirit in all her employees. Terri actively pursues opportunities to promote women in business and volunteers many hours mentoring women and young people alike. Terrence McIntosh - Treasurer

Terrence has strong experience in the area of sells, investment, financial consulting and planning. His interest includes event coordination, management, public speaking and marketing. He has an Honorable Discharge from the Air Force and is presently serving with the Army National Guard.  While working towards a Commission as an Army Officer through Officer Candidate School he simultaneously started a civilian career as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch. He received his Commission as a Second Lieutenant in the National Guard, and was assigned as a Platoon Leader with A Battery 1-180th Field Artillery.  He also earned his Series 7 and 66 NASD licenses at Merrill Lynch. He has held positions with Edward Jones Investments; command of Service Battery, 1-180th Field Artillery Assisted with (J8) of Operation Jump Start (OJS); he has written provisions and annexes to the Joint Force Travel Regulations; coordinated training sessions in contracting and travel pay process procedures. He was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in the capacity of Rear Detachment Commander, and created the Standard Operating Procedures for the Family Readiness Groups and the Rear Detachment. He has been the liaison for the Battalion deployed to Afghanistan with both the National Guard leadership in Arizona as with the Department of the Army. He is also responsible for developing the plan for the unit’s redeployment to AZ from Afghanistan. He has volunteered with such organizations as the Black Board of Directors Project, the Tucson Black Chamber of Commerce as the Chairmen of the Membership Committee, Griffin Foundation Board of Directors. He has also taught investment classes for the Black Engineer Society, the Student Pharmacist Association in Tucson, and other Financial Awareness Summits throughout Arizona.  Terrence holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a MBA.

Tracy Williams - Secretary

Tracy is a highly motivated result-oriented individual with 20 years of experience as a Paralegal . She has owned and operated a Legal Connection Document Preparation Company. Her legal experience stems from working at law firms such as Jennings Strauss and Salmon , Henry Florence Criminal Law and Community Legal Service. She has gained experience in Administration, Marketing, Finance and Investments working for Companies such as US WEST Cellular , Airtouch, Marshall and IIsley Trust of Arizona and Citibank. She has dedicated her free time volunteering to the community with the City of Phoenix annual MLK Breakfast as liaison for the Community Relations Department where she had the opportunity to assist Coretta Scott King, Rosa Parks, Mavis Staples and Stevie Wonder and a host of other celebrities. She has served on the Phoenix Bond Committee for Libraries, Fiesta Bowl Parade Committee, Arizona Cactus Pine Girls Scouts of Arizona and the Arizona Democratic Black Caucus. As a way of giving back to he communiy, she does pro- bono legal preparation of documents and notary services for the disadvantaged consumer.Tracy attended DeVry Institute of Technology, American Institute of Parallelism and South Mountain Community College.

Dyanna Wooten -Board Member
Dyanna Wooten, Lyricist and CEO of Marble Ice Entertainment in Phoenix, Arizona as well as co-owner of Royale Noire, a retail clothing store for men and women in Chandler, Arizona. She can also take credit for G.I.T. (Get It Together and Keep It Together) a seminar she has formed for busy moms. Affectionately, called a marketing guru, Dyanna has managed to turn several businesses around while, managing to do voiceover work, which is her passion. As a voice actor/narrator Dyanna’s worked on many documentaries for an array of subjects ranging from advanced technology to music and art. Such experience has made Dyanna proficient in the unique vocabulary and occupational terminology of a wide variety of subjects.  Her media credits include: Spokesperson for Rainbow Pediatrics, What A Burger, Albertson's/Osco, Pharmacy Training Video & Casino Arizona to name a few.  Dyanna’s been published in the Business Journal, Heart & Soul, Precious Times Magazine, AZ Republic and more. Dyanna has voiced program promotions for major television networks and cable operations.  From 1977 to1980, Dyanna was a Public Service Announcer for KJLH-FM radio in Los Angeles under the direction of Stevie Wonder.  In April 1998 she was an Announcer for the Giants Baseball Opener. 2000 to present worked for The WB voicing Friends promo, in the studios of Arizona FM stations; KYOT, KTAR and KAJM. In addition, Dyanna is an accomplished songwriter (SGA/BMI member), Recording Academy (Grammy’s) Member, and published poet with a strong background in product promotion. She has honed her skills in corporate images, benefit presentations, software training seminars and public speaking. Clients include: Thoratec Laboratories, Care Systems Technology, Eurest Dining Services, CB Richard Ellis, Inc., Desert Dymond Limousines, Phoenix Foreign Car Service, Humble Rhythm Ent., MD Classy Cars, L’Auberge Restaurant in Sedona, The WB, Royale Noire, Ad Strategies in MN.  Her voiceover dialects include: British, Southern, Puerto Rican, Asian and a Valley Girl. She is a savvy business woman and compassionate humanitarian. She earned a BA in Business/Marketing from University of Southern California. Dyanna is married to Dr. Duane Wooten and has two children.

Tanya Barnes Matt - Vice President

Tanya Barnes-Matt, is the CEO of her special events company she started in 1995. She specializes in the Field of fashion merchandising, fashion wardrobe & imaging , fashion show production, fashion stylist, and professional model coach. Her passion is the “arts”  the art of fashion & design.  She has modeled professionally for over 20 years here in the valley, across the U.S. and in Paris, France.  She has enjoyed her modeling career and after graduating from ASU with a degree in fashion merchandising & design , she pursued her dreams as a full time professional model with the Ford Robert Black Agency for over 20 years.  During this time she was given the opportunity to produce small fashion shows , which paved the way to a new career turn of events in fashion show production.  She has an extensive clientele list and some of her major clients include: The Westcor Shopping Centers, Dillards, Beat the Heat for Trends, and Various Charitable organizations here in the valley. Her Passion for wardobing women & men came with her 7 year career at Bullcoks department store where she was lead sales for her first year and then moved into supervisory levels of customer service. She has always enjoyed imaging & wardrobing individuals to help them find their unique personal style - a style that is not dictated by trends but by line, shape, color & balance for each individual. Currently she is the Runway Director for the S.I.M. Model & Talent Agency.  She will continue to produce & coordinate entertaining fashion shows, Emcee Host for Model search events,  Host fashion News Segments, Commentator for informal to formal fashion show events, professional model coaching, and continue to create fun workshops for young girls that focuses on health & inner beauty through fun modeling / imaging  programs.  She also teaches a Fashion Promotions Class for ASU East.  As well as representing her artistic one of a kind jewelry line and her fathers art work in juried art fairs.  Her creativity is endless and she strives for long term relationships with all her clients and endeavors. Tanya has developed a strong production company that focuses on the art of Team Work and is composed of strong independent contractors from the fashion industry.

Keith Braizer - Board Member
Keith is a highly skilled and overtly student-focused on educational leadership. His background extends throughout various schools with his present position with Phoenix Preparatory School where he teaches the 8th grade Science Department in Honors courses and Science Investigations.  He has taught Chemistry, Physics Foundation and Biology. He has provided counseling and positive redirection to troubled and problematic students. He is known for his involvement as a Student Council Sponsor, Spanish Elective and ESL classees for district's community program. Keith can be a accredited for his assistance in the development of Phoenix Preparatory Academy's biotechnology curriculum. He has monitored behavioral progress and structured community integrations methods, while providing safe dignified approaches. Keith has served as team leader and possesses a strong commitment to the development of students and staff, while providing a stimulating, safe, and motivating learning environment. He's a dynamic visionary leader and a solid team player with a proven track record in collaborating with the school community, increasing student academics, and maintaining excellence in education. Keith is a trustworthy professional with superior communication skills to develop strong and lasting relationships with all members of the school community. He donates his time to the community with committees such as Black Board of Directors Project, National Collegiate Minority Leader, Outstanding College Students of  America, Youth & Family Services Board of Directors, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Blue Key Honor Fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Academic All American and Space Academey Alumni. He holds a Masters of Education Administration- Summa Cum Laude, Masters of Bilingual/Multicultural Education (Emphasis Spanish) - Summa Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology (Emphasis Chemistry).
